The mission of the Lassen County Office of Education is to provide essential and necessary resources, services, support, and leadership to all public schools in Lassen County that will assist in the improvement of programs and development of all children in reaching their fullest individual potential.

• To operate programs for school districts that can be provided more efficiently, cost effectively, and educationally effectively through the Lassen County Office of Education.
• To provide coordination services to all school districts in Lassen County.
• To provide support services to all school districts in Lassen County.
• To link state, local governance systems, businesses, and agencies with schools to provide partnerships that will enable better student performance and improved community relations.
